Curious Recipe

Curious Recipe follows Junghyuk, who as a young boy was drawn to Taesu, the tough figure who repeatedly stepped in to save him from bullies. That early admiration leaves a lasting mark, shaping Junghyuk’s feelings across the years. Now, with childhood behind them, the dynamic has shifted: Junghyuk no longer wants to be only the one protected. He wants Taesu to fall for him, completely and hopelessly. His approach centers on sweets—plate after plate of them—offered as both gesture and gambit. Yet the central question remains whether such confections can truly bridge the distance between gratitude and love. Can desserts alone soften Taesu’s heart, or will Junghyuk need something more to turn old protectiveness into romance? The manhwa traces this delicate pursuit, balancing lingering memories of bullying and rescue against the uncertainty of a grown-up pursuit. At its core is Junghyuk’s dilemma: how to transform years of longing into a love Taesu will return.
