In the world of Agallore, a young otaku named Eiko Inoue is transported back in time to 15th century France, where she finds herself in the midst of the Hundred Years' War. There, she encounters Jeanne d'Arc, the legendary Joan of Arc, who is being pursued by the English army. Eiko, a self-proclaimed "expert" on Jeanne d'Arc, decides to take matters into her own hands and help the young woman achieve her goal of driving the English out of France. As Eiko navigates the complexities of medieval life, she must also contend with the challenges of being an outsider in a foreign time period, all while trying to prevent a catastrophic future from unfolding. With her vast knowledge of history and pop culture, Eiko sets out to change the course of events and save Jeanne d'Arc from her fate.
