BE BLUES!: Ao ni Nare

Ryuu Ichijou is a young boy with an unwavering dream: to one day represent his country on the pitch as a member of Japan's national soccer team. Widely recognized as a prodigy, Ryuu possesses a natural talent that makes his lofty ambitions feel entirely within reach. However, his promising trajectory is abruptly shattered during his elementary school years when he throws himself into danger to protect a friend from an oncoming car. The devastating accident leaves him severely injured and forces him to endure two grueling years of intensive physical rehabilitation just to regain basic mobility. Rather than surrendering to despair, Ryuu channels his determination into a hard-fought return to the sport he loves. The story follows him as he enters high school and joins the school's soccer club, eager to reclaim his place on the field. Yet the path back to greatness is far from simple. He must constantly battle the lingering physical remnants of his trauma while striving to recapture the brilliance that once defined him. Through relentless effort and unyielding resolve, Ryuu fights to overcome his past and finally achieve his ultimate goal.
