Riki-oh

In the late 1990s, society teeters on the brink of ecological collapse and totalitarian rule. Within this grim near-future landscape stands the Tokyo State Prison, a privately operated penitentiary where order is maintained through fear and corruption. Into this oppressive environment arrives twenty-one-year-old Saiga Riki-Oh, sentenced to three years for his first offense: assault. Bearing a distinctive six-pointed star tattooed on his fist, he enters the facility like a chilling harbinger of the century's end, carrying an air of mystery that immediately sets him apart from the other inmates. Rather than submitting to the brutal hierarchy of the prison, Riki-Oh openly defies its rulers. The institution is controlled by a ruthless faction known as The Four Emperors, four immensely powerful prisoners who govern the cellblocks and keep the rest of the population in line through intimidation and violence. By directly antagonizing these overlords, Riki-Oh thrusts himself into a dangerous conflict, challenging the very foundation of power within the privately owned walls and setting the stage for a violent struggle against those who command the prison.
