Dan-Young is the sole physician of San-Woon Dang. Her duty becomes complicated when she is tasked with treating Baek-Gyeom, a weapon of the Spirits who may also be her father’s enemy. The herb required for his treatment carries a perilous side effect: it stimulates his lust instead of merely healing him. As his temperature rises beyond control, Baek-Gyeom confesses that nothing he does can cool the heat building inside him. When Dan-Young presses him, his answer is blunt and unsettling—he asks her to hold him. His speech slurs, his eyes roll, and he makes no effort to hide the absurdity of his request.
