If You Don’t Meet Anyone in the Next Year, Let’s Get Married

Yoshiko Kawai’s life has steadily veered off course, but a sudden breakup just days before her twenty-ninth birthday pushes her to an emotional breaking point. Struggling with the weight of her failing plans and the looming pressure of turning thirty without a spouse, she finds herself at a complete loss. In the midst of her despair, she crosses paths with Yuki, a handsome coworker, and unexpectedly confides in him about her deep-seated fears of never finding a husband in time. To her astonishment, Yuki responds with a bold and unconventional proposal: if she fails to find a partner within the next year, he suggests they marry each other.
