Shinonome-san, Itsumade Iru no?

Following the passing of his grandfather, Nakaruma Haru is left adrift. The two of them had shared the quiet rhythm of running a small bakery together, and without his grandfather's presence, Haru closes their shop entirely. Burdened by grief and uncertainty about what lies ahead, he spends his days wrestling with his future until he finally reaches a difficult decision: he will reopen the bakery on his own. Seeking a sense of closure before taking this step, Haru visits the cemetery to share his resolve with his late grandfather. During this visit, his attention is drawn to an unfamiliar figure lingering among the graves—a peculiar man who appears to be an undertaker. The encounter might have been forgotten if not for a twist of fate. Sometime later, as heavy rain pours down, Haru spots that exact same stranger seeking shelter just outside his shop. Driven by a sudden impulse rather than reason, Haru invites the mysterious man inside, offering him refuge from the storm and a room for the night. This spontaneous act of hospitality quietly sets the stage for an unexpected connection between two solitary lives.
