Satan on Parental Leave and His Fake Hero

The hero Jade once charged into battle with a single, burning declaration: he would defeat the Demon Lord Louie and usher in an era of peace for all. Yet fate, as it often does, had a far more peculiar plan in store. Instead of a climactic final showdown, Jade now finds himself trading his sword for an apron, having relocated with Louie—whose true identity remains a closely guarded secret—to a quiet, bucolic countryside. Their shared mission is no longer conquest, but something far more delicate: the raising of Mao, the child destined to become the next Satan. Days are filled with the humble rhythm of domestic life, from whipping up homemade treats to anxiously poring over Mao's finicky palate and ensuring the rambunctious youngster doesn't wander off into trouble. Jade is determined to mold Mao into a benevolent ruler who can one day mend the fractured relationship between demons and humans. Unfortunately, this noble endeavor is constantly undermined by his unlikely housemate. Louie, the very Demon Lord he was meant to vanquish, proves to be less of a co-parent and more of a colossal distraction, demanding attention with all the subtlety of a spoiled child and creating chaos at every turn. Between Louie’s antics and Mao’s mischievous curiosity, Jade's patience is tested to its absolute limit. In this bizarre, makeshift family, can the stubborn hero and the slothful Satan truly raise a child who will choose understanding over annihilation, or will their unconventional household be the world's undoing?
