Yet his dedication extends far beyond campus discipline. Operating simultaneously as a professional mercenary, Nomoto routinely abandons his academic routine to deploy on active battlefields across the globe. Balancing the mundane demands of college life with live combat creates a uniquely chaotic existence. Alongside his loyal circle of friends, Nomoto navigates a world where classroom lectures are frequently interrupted by gunfire, tactical operations, and genuine military mayhem. The series thrives on this absurd contrast, delivering a high-octane comedy that pairs outrageous scenarios with a meticulous, obsessive dedication to authentic weaponry and real-world military hardware. Although the original commercial serialization concluded after five volumes, creator Satoru Sao continued developing the story independently through self-published works. Several of these later stories were ultimately compiled into the official two-volume perfect edition, preserving the complete vision of Nomoto’s unconventional military campus life.
