Debusen

This school comedy follows Mitsuru Fukushima, a young man known as the Psychometrer whose expensive passion for cosplay has left him drowning in debt. Overwhelmed by his financial ruin and seeing no way out of his desperate situation, he travels to the dense forests surrounding Mount Fuji with the tragic intention of ending his life. However, his plans are abruptly derailed when he stumbles upon the lifeless body of a female teacher named Mitsuko Fukushima. In a bizarre twist of fate, the deceased woman bears a striking physical resemblance to him. Seizing this unexpected opportunity to escape his ruined life, Mitsuru decides to step into the dead woman's shoes—quite literally. Donning her clothing and assuming her identity, he begins an entirely new existence disguised as a female educator. Rather than succumbing to despair, he channels his fresh start toward a meaningful cause, dedicating himself to guiding and reforming troubled, delinquent students. Through this unconventional disguise, Mitsuru navigates the chaotic world of education, transforming his personal crisis into a comedic yet earnest mission to change the lives of those around him.
