Houkago Teibou Nisshi

After relocating to a quiet coastal town with her family, Hina Tsurugi hopes to spend her days enjoying the tranquil ocean views. Instead, she encounters Yuuki Kuroiwa, an upperclassman at her new high school who enthusiastically invites her to try fishing. The outing quickly goes awry when Hina catches an octopus that lands directly on her. Terrified of insects and large creatures, she panics and begs Yuuki for help. Seeing an opening, Yuuki uses the incident as leverage to pressure Hina into joining the school’s Breakwater Club, a group dedicated to gathering, catching, and eating various forms of marine life. Despite her desperate attempts to decline the invitation, Hina finds herself unable to escape the club's persistent recruitment. However, as she spends more time participating in their activities, she gradually uncovers an unexpected passion for fishing. Her initial reluctance transforms into genuine enthusiasm as she begins to look forward to the rewarding experiences shared alongside her fellow members. Surrounded by a cast of eccentric yet welcoming clubmates, Hina embarks on a new chapter of her high school life, discovering that the sea holds far more joy than she ever imagined.
