Forced To Become The Heavenly Demon At Swordpoint

Seo Ji-Hun was a ninth-grade civil servant whose only ambition was to live a long, uneventful life. That dream ended abruptly when he was fatally stabbed by a hostile complainant. Instead of fading into nothingness, he awakened in an unfamiliar world governed by martial arts. Desperate for the quiet existence he had always craved, he tried to keep his head down, but fate intervened in the form of a dangerous old man who pressed a blade to his throat and offered a stark ultimatum: die on the spot or become his disciple. This imposing figure was none other than the leader of the Cheonma Sect. Choosing survival as the first step toward eventual peace, Seo Ji-Hun reluctantly accepted the role of heir to the Cheonma legacy. Drawing upon the sharp intellect and administrative competence he honed as a public servant, he rapidly distinguished himself within the cult through exceptional wisdom and formidable martial prowess. Yet, ironically, his talents only brought him more burdens. No matter how hard he tries to avoid attention, his responsibilities multiply and promotions follow relentlessly. What began as a simple desire for tranquility has spiraled into a relentless ascent along the path of the Cheonma, leaving him to wonder if he will ever achieve the peaceful life he truly seeks.
