The Rain and the Other Side of You

Twenty-seven-year-old Yuka Kano is a dedicated junior high school teacher who has never once been in a romantic relationship. Her quiet, uneventful life takes an unexpected turn one rainy afternoon while she is tutoring a student named Aki Madarame. Without warning, Aki leans in and kisses her on the cheek, shattering the professional boundary between them. The young girl then makes a startling confession: she deliberately failed her recent exam simply to secure private time alone with her teacher. Left bewildered by Aki’s calculated actions and intense feelings, Yuka struggles to comprehend why her student would go to such lengths. Driven by concern and confusion, she decides to visit Aki at her home to understand the situation better. However, stepping through those doors leads Yuka far beyond the boundaries of a simple teacher-student dynamic, as she uncovers a dark and unsettling truth hidden behind closed doors.
