Inspired by a television program she recently watched, Nakamura Hirona impulsively decides to establish her very own detective group. Lacking any actual volunteers, she wastes no time conscripting her childhood friend, Hikawa Mio, as the organization's first official member. Shortly after, Yamamoto Fuuka happens to walk by and is immediately swept up in Hirona’s enthusiastic recruitment drive, becoming the second member of this newly formed agency. The group expands once more when Fuuka invites her own friend, Sawaki Megumi, to join them as the third recruit. With their impromptu roster finally complete, the four girls set out on what promises to be an exciting investigative adventure—though reality quickly proves far less dramatic than Hirona imagined.
