Mokke

Mokke follows the lives of two sisters burdened by supernatural afflictions. Shizuru, a high school student, possesses the unsettling ability to see ghosts, while her younger sister, Mizuki, is actively tormented and haunted by these restless apparitions. Overwhelmed by their daughters' inexplicable conditions and the disruption they bring to daily life, their parents make the difficult decision to send them away. The girls are entrusted to the care of their grandparents, who reside in a quiet, rural countryside far removed from the pressures of the city. Relocating to this tranquil setting forces both sisters to adapt to an entirely different pace of life. Surrounded by lush landscapes and steeped in older traditions, Shizuru and Mizuki begin to understand that the spirits troubling them are deeply intertwined with the natural world. Rather than simply fleeing from or fighting the apparitions, the sisters gradually learn a vital lesson about coexistence. Through their experiences in the countryside, they discover how to live in harmony with both nature and the unseen entities that inhabit it, transforming their inherited burden into a profound understanding of the world around them.
