When Toranosuke’s mother, an interior designer, departs for a year-long work assignment in New York, he is sent to live with his uncle, Ryouji. Despite his somewhat awkward name, Toranosuke quickly discovers that his new living situation is anything but peaceful. Ryouji is loud, quick-tempered, and possesses the same sharp tongue as Toranosuke’s mother, making their initial interactions incredibly volatile. However, beneath the aggressive exterior and constant bickering, Toranosuke begins to notice a surprisingly kind heart hidden within his uncle. As they spend more time together, Toranosuke finds himself developing unexpected romantic feelings for the one person he should never fall for.
