Summary
Official Details
Hina Alucard is a modern vampire who has adapted to the contemporary world by drinking blood from bags rather than hunting humans. Despite this practical adjustment, she remains an extreme recluse who has not stepped outside her home in Romania for thirty years. Desperate to draw his daughter out of her prolonged isolation, Hina’s father intervenes with an unexpected gift that alters the course of her life: a DVD of the anime series Vampire Cross. The moment she watches it, Hina becomes utterly captivated, developing a fierce obsession with the show and its character Mao. However, experiencing the thrill of fandom from the confines of her secluded Romanian bedroom quickly proves unsatisfying. Driven by her newfound passion and the desire to fully embrace her inner fangirl, Hina finally leaves her house for the first time in three decades. She sets off on a journey to Japan, determined to step into the real world and live out her ultimate otaku dream.
