Mugi no Hana: shared life is beautiful

Mugi no Hana: Shared Life Is Beautiful follows a group of women in their thirties as they navigate adulthood and communal living. After being dumped by her boyfriend for prioritizing idol activities over their anniversary, Mugi begins to deeply reevaluate her lifestyle and interpersonal relationships. Seeking guidance, she confides in her best friend Tomoyo about her uncertainties and desire for change. In response, Tomoyo proposes an ambitious solution: creating a share house designed as a sanctuary where women can cultivate independence while offering mutual support and understanding. Although neither woman has experience finding tenants or managing the complexities of shared domestic life, they commit to building this ideal space together. The manga chronicles their journey from concept to reality, highlighting both the practical challenges and emotional growth that come with establishing a new kind of home. Through trial and error, Mugi and her housemates learn to communicate openly, set boundaries, and foster genuine connections. Ultimately, the story portrays how these women create a nurturing environment where they can authentically be themselves, transforming personal setbacks into collective resilience and discovering beauty in their shared everyday lives.
