Otonarisan to Hajimeru Setsuyaku Seikatsu.: Denkidai no Tame ni Issho no Heya de Sugoshimasenka?

Mamiya Tetsuo is a high school student navigating the challenges of living alone on a tight budget. Desperate to cut costs, he teams up with his neighbor, Yamano, who shares his financial struggles. Together, they experiment with various frugal habits, from preparing homemade bento boxes for lunch to splitting large loaves of bread. Despite their best efforts, these small measures barely make a dent in their expenses. With summer fast approaching, the looming threat of skyrocketing air conditioning bills leaves them both deeply anxious about how they will manage the coming months. Just as they are racking their brains for a solution, Yamano makes an unexpectedly bold proposal. Pointing out that sharing a single room would instantly halve their electricity costs, she suggests they move in together. While her logic is financially sound, Tetsuo is left completely stunned by the idea. Faced with an unconventional arrangement that blurs the line between practicality and intimacy, he must decide whether to take this drastic step to survive the summer heat or find another way to keep his finances afloat.
