Arima is the picture of a perfect honor student, admired by his peers and teachers alike. Beneath this flawless exterior, however, lies a carefully concealed second personality. When a teacher requests that he tutor Mizutani—a notorious delinquent whose academic performance is rapidly deteriorating—Arima accepts the responsibility, expecting a straightforward arrangement. He soon discovers that his new study partner possesses absolutely no interest in academics or school life. Mizutani’s persistent apathy proves to be an immense source of frustration for Arima. Despite his best efforts to guide the rebellious student through his coursework, Mizutani remains entirely disengaged, pushing Arima’s patience to its absolute limit. The mounting tension finally shatters Arima’s meticulously crafted facade. In a sudden burst of anger, he abandons his polite demeanor and reveals his true, unfiltered self to the stunned delinquent. Rather than driving them apart, this raw and unexpected confrontation becomes the catalyst for something neither boy anticipated. Stripped of pretenses and forced to see each other honestly, their dynamic shifts entirely once the final bell rings. What begins as a frustrating tutoring obligation quickly transforms into an unconventional romance, proving that the most genuine connections often start after school hours.
