Can't Back

While waiting for a friend one afternoon, Akira wanders into a vintage clothing store and experiences an unexpected moment of love at first sight. The object of his sudden affection is Hokujou, the charming shop assistant working behind the counter. From that day forward, Akira finds himself returning to the store again and again, eagerly purchasing every piece of clothing Hokujou recommends just to spend more time in his presence. Despite this growing infatuation, Akira is determined to keep his feelings strictly in check. Still nursing the emotional wounds of a recent heartbreak caused by a straight man who could never return his affections, he has absolutely no intention of pursuing another painful romance. He resolves to admire Hokujou from a safe distance, convinced that keeping his guard up will protect him from getting hurt once more. However, Akira’s carefully constructed boundaries are thrown into disarray when Hokujou suddenly appears in the last place he ever expected to see him. When the shop assistant unexpectedly walks into Akira's regular gay bar, the line between casual customer interactions and something far more personal begins to blur, leaving Akira to wonder if avoiding this attraction might no longer be an option.
