Shin Taketori Monogatari: 1000-nen Joou

A newly discovered tenth planet known as Lametal is on a catastrophic collision course with Earth, destined to strike on September 9, 1999. While the impact will leave the massive ice planet largely unscathed, it threatens to completely annihilate humanity's homeworld. Amid this looming apocalypse, Yayoi—the daughter of Lametal's queen—arrives on Earth carrying out a dark directive: to abduct a vast number of humans and force them into slavery for her people. However, her mission takes an unexpected turn when she befriends Hajime, a young orphaned boy. Through their bond, Yayoi begins to deeply question the cruel intentions of her mother and the destructive path set before her. Torn between her royal heritage and her growing compassion for the people she was sent to subjugate, she faces a profound moral dilemma that forces her to choose a side. Ultimately, Yayoi turns against her own world. Standing alongside her newfound human family and friends, she takes up arms against the forces of Lametal. Together, they embark on a desperate struggle to defy the queen's plans and find a way to prevent Earth's total destruction before time runs out.
