The Melancholy of a Mob-Style Boy

University student Shinobu Ochi identifies himself as an ordinary background character—a "mob" man. He believes he has finally escaped the persistent attention of his two former high school classmates, You Sugano and Keiichi Kaitou. Much to his dismay, however, these two seem far more interested in chasing after an unassuming background player than starring as the main characters in their own lives. As the pursuit continues, Shinobu is left to wonder if he will ever successfully evade them, or if he is destined to become much more than just a simple mob man. This volume also features several compelling side stories. In "Futsutsuka na Boku desu ga," two childhood friends begin to realize that their bond has evolved into something deeper than mere friendship. Meanwhile, in "Kimi to Himitsu no wa," a high school student falls in love with the soothing voice of a late-night radio show host. His world shifts unexpectedly when he crosses paths with the host's younger brother, who coincidentally possesses the exact same voice.
