Hare no Kuni no Apparedan

After relocating to Okayama, Momozaki Koharu unexpectedly crosses paths with a colorful trio who proudly declare themselves the loyal friends of the legendary hero Momotaro. Because her surname contains the word "momo," meaning peach, and she happens to be carrying kibi dango—the iconic millet dumplings tied to the region's most famous folktale—the enthusiastic group immediately crowns her as the reincarnation of their beloved hero. Swept up in their self-appointed mission to protect the peace of Okayama, Koharu finds herself dragged into a series of grand adventures alongside her new companions. Together, they set out to visit local amusement parks, participate in vibrant regional festivals, and tackle various other activities in the name of justice. However, despite their heroic declarations, their so-called quest to safeguard the city quickly reveals itself to be nothing more than an endless string of carefree outings. Rather than battling demons or facing genuine peril, Koharu’s days are filled with lighthearted fun disguised as noble duty. What begins as an unexpected misunderstanding blossoms into a warm and relaxing slice-of-life journey, as she slowly embraces the charm of her new home through the joyful, playful antics of her eccentric friends.
