Jeanne d’Arc is historically celebrated as a saint of the Catholic Church and a pivotal hero of the Hundred Years’ War, yet her extraordinary resilience attracted attention far beyond mortal comprehension. Even in the fifteenth century, Kyubey recognized her immense potential and recruited her as a Magical Girl to harvest the potent energy generated by her struggles. This secret covenant transforms the legendary figure into a supernatural warrior, intertwining her documented military campaigns with a hidden magical conflict that recontextualizes her historical legacy within the Puella Magi universe. Supported by a loyal cadre of fellow Magical Girls, Joan leads the charge against English occupiers while navigating the perilous dual existence of a divine soldier and a contracted fighter. However, the battlefield soon reveals threats far more insidious than any earthly army, forcing her to confront a darkness that transcends national borders and historical warfare. As the lines between sacred duty and magical exploitation blur, she must determine whether her ultimate enemy lies among the invading forces or within the sinister machinations of the very power that granted her strength.
