Ayame is a girl who fully embraces her chuunibyou tendencies, viewing the world through a lens of grand delusions and dramatic fantasies. Seeking a fresh start away from the complexities of modern society, she relocates to a quiet, rural setting surrounded by lush nature. Here, she hopes to enjoy a peaceful country life alongside a group of simple, innocent friends who are entirely removed from the digital distractions of the outside world. However, Ayame’s vivid imagination refuses to settle down even in this tranquil environment. Rather than leaving her elaborate fantasies behind, she projects them directly onto her new companions, transforming their ordinary interactions into explosive, theatrical scenarios within her mind. Her unique perspective turns everyday moments with her gentle friends into something far more extraordinary and chaotic than reality dictates. Despite her attempt to escape into a serene, natural lifestyle, it quickly becomes apparent that Ayame has not truly abandoned her obsessive attachment to the two-dimensional world. She continues to struggle with letting go of her deeply ingrained habits, proving that throwing away her connection to fictional realms is far more difficult than simply moving to the countryside.
