Eromanga Sensei

High school student and light novel author Masamune Izumi lives with his younger sister Sagiri, a reclusive shut-in who has not left her bedroom in over a year. As each other’s only remaining family, Masamune deeply desires to help Sagiri reconnect with the outside world, even as she communicates primarily by stomping on the floor to demand meals. Despite the challenges of their isolated domestic life, he remains devoted to supporting her while pursuing his own creative ambitions as a writer. Masamune relies heavily on his talented yet mysterious illustrator, known only by the pen name Eromanga Sensei, whose provocative artwork is both highly skilled and dependable. Having never met this collaborator in person, Masamune assumes he is dealing with an unpleasant, obsessive otaku. His assumptions are completely upended when he discovers that Eromanga Sensei is actually Sagiri herself, revealing a startling secret that fundamentally alters their sibling dynamic and forces them to navigate new emotional and professional complexities together. The situation grows even more complicated with the arrival of a beautiful, best-selling shoujo manga artist who emerges as a formidable rival. Her presence introduces fresh tension and competition into the siblings’ already chaotic lives, challenging both their creative partnership and their fragile personal bond as they strive to s쳮d in the demanding world of publishing.
