BIRDMEN

Eishi Karasuma lives a quiet, monotonous existence, drifting through his days as a loner whose only true companion is Mikisada Kamoda. Seeking a brief escape from their unremarkable routine, the two decide to skip class together one afternoon. Their impromptu excursion leads them to cross paths with Tsubame, a highly energetic girl, and Rei Sagisawa, a strikingly handsome boy who attends the very same middle school. What begins as an ordinary day of truancy quickly takes an unexpected turn as this unlikely group makes their way back to campus. Before they can return to the safety of their daily lives, a sudden and shocking event disrupts everything. In the midst of the chaos, a mysterious winged boy appears from seemingly nowhere, arriving just in time to offer his aid. This extraordinary encounter shatters the mundane reality Eishi once knew, thrusting him and his companions into a situation far beyond their understanding. Featuring two prologue chapters that establish the foundation of the narrative, the story follows these students as their lives become irrevocably intertwined with forces they never could have imagined.
