Cat's Eye

By day, Hitomi, Rui, and Ai Kisugi are the charming proprietors of a cozy café known as Cat's Eye. By night, however, the three sisters lead a dangerous double life as an elite trio of art thieves. Operating with remarkable precision, they target specific works of art—primarily paintings—and leave behind signature calling cards bearing the name "Cat's Eye" at every crime scene. Their criminal enterprise is not driven by greed but by a deeply personal mission: each stolen piece once belonged to their father, Heinz, a renowned art collector who vanished during the era of the Nazi regime. The sisters orchestrate these high-profile heists in the desperate hope that their actions will eventually draw him out of hiding and prompt him to contact them. The stakes become intensely complicated when the police assign a dedicated officer to track down the elusive thieves. Toshio, the detective leading the investigation, has sworn to capture and dismantle the Cat's Eye gang at all costs. Unbeknownst to him, his relentless pursuit places him in direct opposition to his own fiancée, Hitomi. This dramatic irony fuels the series' central conflict, as the determined investigator unknowingly hunts the very woman he loves, while she must carefully guard her secret identity to protect both her family's mission and her relationship.
