HUMINT

Honda lives a carefully invisible life, meticulously erasing every trace of his existence as he navigates each passing day. His quiet routine is abruptly shattered when he crosses paths with Himemiya, an enigmatic figure who presents himself in women’s clothing. Rather than letting Honda retreat back into the shadows, Himemiya pulls him directly into the covert operations of Amagiri Security, fundamentally upending his desire to remain unseen. While Amagiri Security maintains the outward appearance of an ordinary corporate entity, it operates in secret as a highly specialized espionage organization. Its operatives are trained to slip into the fragile spaces between a person’s truths and lies, systematically uncovering hidden realities through the art of human intelligence gathering—tradecraft known in the field as HUMINT. Thrust into this deceptive underworld, Honda must navigate a dangerous landscape where nothing is as it seems. From Matsuri, the acclaimed creator of Phantom Tales of the Night, comes a thrilling action story steeped in the perilous tactics of honey traps. Balancing sharp humor with genuine emotional weight, the series delivers a compelling narrative filled with both laughter and heartache as Honda fights to survive in a world built entirely on secrets.
