Idolatry

For high school student Junna Harumi, life has only one true meaning: dedicating herself entirely to supporting her favorite idol, Fuwari Tsukishiro. Junna’s world revolves around cheering on Fuwari and watching her shine on stage. However, that carefully constructed purpose is suddenly shattered when the idol group Fuwari belongs to officially disbands. Left devastated and without direction, Junna struggles to cope with the sudden loss of the dream she had been so passionately rooting for. Just as despair threatens to consume her, a glimmer of hope emerges. Junna discovers that Fuwari intends to participate in a highly competitive new idol audition program featuring exactly one hundred contestants. Realizing this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Junna makes a bold and unconventional decision. Rather than simply watching from the audience, she resolves to enter the audition herself alongside her beloved idol. By becoming a contestant, Junna plans to operate behind the scenes, using her position within the competition to guide, protect, and ultimately propel Fuwari to the very top of the idol world.
