Mermaid Forest

In feudal Japan, an ancient legend claims that consuming mermaid flesh grants eternal youth. Yuta, once an unwitting consumer of this flesh, now roams the countryside in search of a mermaid, hoping she can reverse his unnatural state and restore him to humanity. When he finally encounters a group of mermaids, he discovers they have been raising a young girl as their next meal, believing that by consuming her, they can retain their youth. As Yuta kills the mermaids and rescues the girl, Mana, he finds himself no longer alone, and the two form an unlikely bond. Together, they seek out more mermaids, driven by the desire to become ordinary humans once more.
