Maid Machinegun

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Tokyo’s Akihabara district, eighteen-year-old Aaliyah has just begun working as a waitress at a bustling maid café frequented by devoted manga fans. Chronicled through her own lively diary entries, Aaliyah is determined to leave a lasting impression on the establishment. Armed with an unshakable resolve to never give up, she sets out to achieve ambitious goals: producing a dedicated maid photo book, organizing an unforgettable event, and launching her own innovative concept, “A Maid’s Dimly Lit Counseling Room,” designed to help the café’s patrons navigate their personal troubles. However, her grand plans quickly encounter unexpected complications that go far beyond her struggling Japanese language skills. The other maids treat her with growing suspicion, while a strikingly handsome new waiter seems inexplicably infatuated with her from the moment he arrives. As tensions rise, it becomes clear that Aaliyah harbors a hidden secret of her own. To truly become the perfect maid she envisions, she must confront the truth about herself and chase her dreams no matter where they lead. This edition also includes a bonus manga short story.
