Summary

Official Details
In order to find his long-lost sister Xinghua, Seiya, a young man born in Japan, resolutely went to the Greek sanctuary to undergo arduous training to become a Saint, in order to win the Galaxy Arena and obtain the Golden Saint Cloth. During the competition, Seiya developed a lifelong friendship with Shiryu, Hyoga, Shun and Ikki, and discovered a secret of the Pope 13 years ago... 13 years ago, the Golden Saint Sagittarius Aiolos rescued the reincarnated baby girl of the goddess Athena who was being killed by the Pope. Before his death, he entrusted the baby girl and the golden cloak to the Japanese Mitsumasa Kido. In order to entrust the golden holy cloak to someone he could trust, Mitsumasa Kido sent 100 children (the manga version was the children of Mitsumasa Kido and 99 women, but the animated version was 100 orphans) to various parts of the world to receive training as saints. He used the Galaxy Arena to hand over the holy cloak to the winner, and the goddess Athena was none other than Saori Kido, the granddaughter of Mitsumasa Kido... The story places great emphasis on loyalty to faith and selfless friendship, and emphasizes that the burning of the "small universe" born of this faith is the source of mysterious power that defeats all dark forces.
