Haruyoshi enters his new school determined to leave behind a frustrating past defined by perpetual bench-warming and unfulfilled athletic aspirations. Seeking a genuine fresh start, he hopes to finally prove his worth on the court, but his journey takes an unexpected turn when a chance physical collision introduces him to Hadzuki, the dedicated manager of the basketball club. Rather than dismissing him, she immediately recognizes a latent potential within him that others have consistently overlooked, offering him the opportunity he has long craved and setting the stage for possible redemption. Despite this promising encounter and Hadzuki’s belief in his abilities, Haruyoshi quickly discovers that his path to success will be far from straightforward. The initial spark of hope does not guarantee an easy transition, as unforeseen challenges and complications threaten to derail his ambitions before they can fully materialize. His renewed pursuit of basketball becomes a complex test of resilience, forcing him to navigate obstacles that extend beyond mere athletic skill and challenging his resolve to transform from a sidelined observer into a true contributor.
