Karneval

Nai is a young man on a solitary journey, searching for someone named Karoku. His only clue in this pursuit is a single bracelet. During his travels, he crosses paths with Gareki, a headstrong youth who survives by stealing and picking pockets. Their fates become intertwined when they are drawn into a sinister mansion, where they are trapped and framed for crimes they did not commit. Suddenly branded as fugitives, the two find themselves relentlessly pursued by national security forces. With nowhere left to run and their situation growing increasingly desperate, they are driven into a corner. Just as all hope seems lost, an unexpected intervention arrives in the form of Circus—the most powerful defense organization in the entire country—forever altering the course of their lives.
