Luce to Shiro no Keiyaku

Set against the backdrop of a richly imagined fantasy world, Luce to Shiro no Keiyaku follows the struggles of a young woman named Luce. Following the tragic death of their parents, she has been left entirely alone to care for her younger sister. Their daily lives are made even more difficult by a deeply rooted prejudice: the two siblings originally hail from an enemy nation. As a result, the citizens of the country where they now reside frequently subject them to hostility and harsh treatment, forcing Luce to constantly navigate a society that views her very existence with suspicion. Despite the weight of these hardships, Luce’s life takes an unexpected turn when a mysterious individual suddenly appears before her. Rather than offering simple aid or posing a direct threat, this stranger presents her with a truly bizarre proposition. The visitor asks Luce to enter into an unusual arrangement, requesting that she become the lover of their own fiancé. This startling proposal thrusts Luce into a complicated web of hidden motives and unforeseen entanglements, challenging her to weigh the potential consequences of accepting such a strange pact in a world that has already shown her so little kindness.
