Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari

Naofumi Iwatani, an uncharismatic otaku who dedicates his days to video games and manga, finds his ordinary routine abruptly upended when he is suddenly summoned to a parallel universe. Upon his arrival, he learns that he is one of four legendary champions chosen to wield mythical weapons and tasked with saving the realm from an impending, prophesied destruction. However, designated as the Shield Hero—widely regarded as the weakest among the summoned warriors—Naofumi soon discovers that his new reality is fraught with deception. Before long, he finds himself entirely isolated, stripped of his resources, and severely betrayed by those around him. With nowhere left to run and no allies to turn to, he is left with nothing but his defensive equipment. Driven by necessity, Naofumi must overcome these overwhelming odds, harness his remaining strength, and rise up to become the legendary hero capable of saving the world.
