Maou na Ano Ko to Murabito A

In a world where students attend a specialized academy to train for roles in fantasy narratives, true talent is exceedingly rare. Only a select few are born with the extraordinary traits of warriors or wizards, while the vast majority are destined to live out their days as ordinary villagers. Satou is one such unremarkable student, perfectly content to fade into the background—until Ryuugamine Ouko, a girl bearing the fearsome trait of a demon lord, suddenly fixates on him. Despite her petite stature and surprisingly calm demeanor, Ouko has a troubling habit of casually muttering about the annihilation of mankind, leaving Satou desperate for a quiet life. Complicating matters further is Hikarigaoka Tsubasa, Satou’s childhood friend who passionately positions herself as his heroic protector. Though undeniably beautiful, Tsubasa is incredibly self-centered; once she sets her mind on something, she becomes an unstoppable source of chaos. Caught between a lonely, world-ending demon lord and a headstrong, troublemaking hero, Satou finds himself dragged into a whirlwind of bizarre dilemmas. This delightfully abnormal tale weaves together a quirky cast of characters in a fast-paced slapstick comedy where even a mere villager cannot escape the madness.
