4:00 PM. Invisible, Sometimes a Voice Actress

Rana Yamada is a perfectly ordinary, unremarkable high school girl who blends seamlessly into the background of her daily life. However, her quiet existence is abruptly shattered when a classmate secretly records and uploads a video of her to the internet. The clip quickly goes viral for one astonishing reason: Rana’s speaking voice is nearly indistinguishable from that of Kouke Sa Shion, a massively popular superstar voice actress. As the video spreads across the web, it inevitably catches the attention of industry professionals, leading Shion’s manager to track Rana down. During their encounter, Shion herself joins via a phone call to deliver an unbelievable proposition—she asks Rana to switch places with her and act as her secret double. Though initially bewildered by the prospect of stepping into the demanding world of professional voice acting, Rana finds herself deeply moved by the offer. For a girl who has always felt invisible, colorless, and transparent, the realization that someone genuinely needs her voice ignites a profound sense of purpose. Embracing this extraordinary opportunity, she begins to step out of the shadows, navigating the thrilling and unfamiliar landscape of performance. What starts as a bizarre substitution soon transforms the overlooked student into someone finally ready to be heard.
