Kimi Note

Kimi Note is a boys’ love manga anthology featuring four distinct stories centered on complex romantic relationships and emotional vulnerability. In the titular story, high school student Miyasaka becomes inexplicably captivated by the unique scent of his attractive classmate Sawatari, only to discover that the fragrance loses its intoxicating effect when worn by anyone else, leading to a tender exploration of attraction specific to one person. Another tale, Replay, follows Nishigaki as he attends his sister’s wedding and reflects on his past relationship with his junior Yaguchi, recalling how he tested their bond by announcing plans to attend a distant college in hopes of being asked to stay, and now faces unresolved feelings upon seeing him again years later. The collection also includes Whisper of King, which depicts Kugayama’s anxious entanglement with his club senpai Ashiya after an ambiguous encounter at a party leaves him uncertain about the nature of their ongoing physical relationship, until a reunion event triggers unexpected jealousy and confusion. Finally, Go Home presents Nakano’s struggle as he harbors secret feelings for his senpai who unexpectedly moves in after being evicted for scandalous behavior; despite knowing the risks, Nakano’s restraint is tested when he discovers his beloved senpai in bed with another woman, forcing him to confront the painful boundaries between desire and reality.
