Shounen Visual Rock

Second-year high school student Otonashi Seiya deliberately restrains his academic ambitions, yet he remains unable to escape the persistent weight of his father’s demanding expectations. This internal conflict defines his daily existence as he struggles to reconcile his personal desires with familial obligations, creating a sense of stagnation that permeates his adolescent life. The pressure to conform to a predetermined path leaves him feeling trapped between duty and self-expression, searching for an outlet that might allow him to assert his own identity beyond the shadow of parental approval. His perspective shifts dramatically when he stumbles upon a visual kei band called BLACK GLAZE while browsing a video-sharing platform. Captivated by their intense performance and distinctive aesthetic, Seiya experiences a profound emotional awakening that ignites a newfound passion within him. Inspired by the raw energy and artistic freedom embodied in their music, he begins to seriously contemplate forming his own band and taking the stage. This discovery offers a potential avenue for liberation, transforming his suppressed frustrations into creative ambition as he envisions a future where he can express himself through the powerful medium of visual rock performance.
