You and I on the G string

On the very day she resigned from her job to prepare for marriage, her engagement is abruptly called off. Left suddenly unemployed and adrift, she wanders into a CD shop where she hears Johann Sebastian Bach’s "Aria on the G String." Deeply moved by the melody, she makes a spontaneous decision: she wants to learn how to play it herself. Seeking a fresh start, she enrolls in an early morning adult violin class that meets every Monday at seven o'clock. However, she quickly discovers that picking up a new instrument—and navigating life after heartbreak—is far more complicated than she anticipated. The beginner's course introduces her to three fellow students and their instructor, forming an unexpectedly vibrant ensemble of personalities. As they struggle through their first notes together, the protagonist realizes that mastering the violin is not the only challenge awaiting her. The intricate, often unpredictable dynamics among her classmates prove just as difficult to navigate as the music itself, transforming a simple morning hobby into a colorful journey of human connection and personal growth.
