Set against the grandeur of ancient Egypt, this manga chronicles the remarkable life of Hatshepsut, a woman who ultimately achieved a highly successful and enduring reign as ruler. The narrative opens during her youth, following her marriage to her half-brother, Thutmose II. Through this union, she plays a pivotal role in securing his ascension to the throne as Pharaoh, positioning herself at the very heart of the kingdom's political power. However, Hatshepsut is far more than a traditional royal consort. She possesses an unyielding will and a fierce determination that sets her apart from those around her. As she navigates the complexities of the Egyptian court, she faces the rigid societal expectations placed upon her gender. Rather than submitting to these limitations, she steadfastly refuses to accept the restrictions others attempt to impose on her simply because she is a woman. Her journey becomes one of defiance and ambition as she challenges the boundaries of her era. Driven by her own formidable spirit, Hatshepsut charts a path that defies convention, transforming from a young bride into a powerful figure destined to leave an indelible mark on the history of Egypt.
