Yuusha-sama ni Ikinari Kyuukon sareta no desu ga

When a beautiful princess is taken captive by the Demon King, a valiant hero and his trusted party of adventurers embark on a perilous quest to rescue her. Upon their triumphant return, the hero requests an unexpected reward for his success. Rather than seeking the hand of the royal he saved, he turns to the crowd and proposes marriage to Aria Milford, the princess’s humble maidservant. Aria is left utterly bewildered by this sudden declaration. Having always viewed herself as nothing more than a minor background character in a grand tale, she never imagined she would be thrust into the spotlight, let alone become the object of a legendary hero’s affection. The proposal upends her quiet life entirely, leaving her struggling to comprehend why someone of his stature would choose her over royalty. Despite her confusion and reluctance to step out of her perceived insignificance, the hero remains resolute. He is fully determined to win not only her hand in marriage but also her heart. Now, Aria must navigate an unfamiliar world where she is no longer just a bystander, forced to decide how she will respond to the relentless devotion of a man who refuses to take no for an answer.
