Maru is no ordinary young man. Born as a male marten, he developed a deep fascination with the human world and ultimately chose to abandon his animal nature, transforming himself into a human to live among them. Seeking a quiet life in this new form, he moves into an apartment at Fukufuku Heights alongside his roommate, Sunao, a gentle and easygoing university student who takes each day as it comes. Together, they settle into a comfortable domestic rhythm far removed from Maru’s wild origins. What follows is a heartwarming exploration of their shared daily life, where even the simplest routines take on a special warmth.
