Rose Guns Days: Season 1

Following the unprecedented devastation of World War II, Japan accepts the terms of unconditional surrender laid out by the American and Allied Forces. The nation lies in ruins, yet its people refuse to break. Amid a sweeping influx of foreign influences and immigrants, the citizens adapt with quiet cunning, carefully forging new ways to survive in a rapidly transforming society. This is a country fundamentally altered from its past—an unrecognizable homeland waiting for those who left it behind. Three years after the war's end, Leo Shishigami returns to this changed landscape. A sharpshooter and a sweet-talking womanizer, Leo steps back into a world that no longer resembles the one he once knew. He must navigate the complex social currents of a recovering nation where old rules have been discarded and new alliances dictate survival. The true turning point arrives in the spring of 1947, when Leo crosses paths with Rose Haibara, the commanding madam of Club Primavera. Their encounter serves as the catalyst that sets everything into motion, drawing Leo into a web of intrigue within an establishment at the heart of this shifting era. Against the backdrop of a reinvented Japan, their meeting marks the beginning of a story defined by ambition, resilience, and the struggle to thrive in a fractured world.
