Rural Rivalry

Ju Sung-Hyeon is a student who seemingly possesses everything: striking good looks, impeccable academic records, and an untarnished reputation. His trajectory toward a flawless future is abruptly derailed, however, when his family uproots him to a remote rural village. Stripped of his urban comforts and forced into an unfashionable school uniform, Sung-Hyeon finds the provincial environment entirely beneath him. Yet, the most unbearable shock awaits inside the classroom, where he discovers that his undisputed position as the top-ranking student has already been claimed by someone else. That someone is Park Chan-Woo, a local boy born and raised in the countryside who remains completely unimpressed by Sung-Hyeon’s prestigious city background. Determined to reclaim his pride and reassert his dominance, Sung-Hyeon confronts his new rival head-on. Instead of engaging in the expected academic showdown, Chan-Woo responds with an entirely unexpected proposition. He offers Sung-Hyeon a simple condition: if the former top student truly wishes to settle their rivalry through conversation, he must first roll up his sleeves and assist with the local harvest.
