Komagome-kun wa Nakasetai

To achieve his ultimate goal of becoming a full-fledged demon, Komagome enrolls undercover in a human high school. His mission is straightforward: he must push his designated target, a girl named Shinagawa, into absolute despair so he can drink her tears. However, his carefully laid plans quickly unravel upon meeting her. Rather than succumbing to sorrow, Shinagawa remains perpetually cheerful, wearing a constant smile and never shedding a single tear, completely oblivious to the dark intentions lurking behind her new classmate's presence. Worse still for the aspiring demon, an entirely unexpected complication arises. Every time Komagome witnesses Shinagawa’s radiant expression, his own heart begins to race uncontrollably—a deeply confusing physical reaction that contradicts everything he knows about his demonic nature. Instead of draining her life force, he finds himself increasingly captivated by the very human he was sent to torment. Caught between his supernatural duties and his rapidly developing feelings, Komagome struggles to navigate the unfamiliar territory of human emotion. What unfolds is a delightfully clumsy dynamic between a hopelessly pure-hearted demon and a blissfully unaware girl, transforming a sinister assignment into a charming, heart-pounding romantic comedy.
