Hinekure Sugi-kun

Niko is a girl who has lost the ability to voice her true feelings. Instead of expressing herself honestly, she exhausts her mental energy every single day trying to blend in and conform to the expectations of those around her. This constant effort to match her surroundings takes a heavy toll on her nerves, leaving her trapped in a quiet, suffocating cycle of people-pleasing and self-suppression. Her carefully maintained facade shatters with the arrival of Sugi, an eccentric transfer student who refuses to play by society’s unspoken rules. Armed with extreme straightforwardness and a complete intolerance for pretenses, Sugi immediately begins causing trouble, dragging Niko out of her comfort zone. His blunt nature forces her to confront the exhausting reality of her own behavior, turning her predictable daily life upside down. As Sugi continues to disrupt the status quo, their interactions spiral into a series of hilariously cringe-worthy situations that leave Niko reeling. Stripped of her ability to hide behind polite conformity, she must navigate this chaotic new dynamic. It is a sharp, comedic departure from her sheltered past, signaling a definitive farewell to her former innocence.
